The Economics of Population Dispersal Policy

The issue of population dispersal is one that enjoys cyclical popularity in much of the Western world. Considerable discussion and media space is devoted to the need for public intervention in order to reduce urban congestion, ecological damage, and protect the 'quality of life'.
